I have seen many a flight attendant perturbed at the lack of attention by passengers to the in-flight safety video. Flying almost every week, I really do try to watch the entire video, especially on where to find the life jackets, but most just don’t have attention-grabbing content to keep my focus. After watching this new in-flight safety video, I wish Air New Zealand produced the videos for all the flights I fly!
Watch this just-released in-flight safety video with Betty White (Golden Girls), Gavin MacLeod (Love Boat) and a cast of golden oldies as they do “Safety Old School Style”.
After laughing through this video (look for the teeth on the life jacket air tube!), you may also be wishing the creatives at Air New Zealand spread their humor across all in-flight safety videos! I loved their Hobbit safety video on my flight from LAX to London as well as “The Bear Essentials” with Bear Grylls.
Additionally, Air New Zealand is giving viewers the chance to win the trip of a lifetime to either Palm Springs, California or Queenstown in New Zealand’s South Island, including a raft of activities. To enter, viewers need to share their story of how they are living life to the fullest at airnewzealand.com/safetyoldschool.
Good luck with the contest!
