Is Life As a Road Warrior More Lonely Than Glamorous? This SXSW Panel Wants to Help!

The South By Southwest (SXSW) Conference and Festival has earned the reputation as a breeding ground for new ideas and creative technologies. This year they are asking for a little help in choosing who will get to speak at their next conference in March. Carol, along with Thomas Marks from TripIt and Cynthia Drescher from Jaunted.com, are in the running to host a panel called Life on the Road is Lonely: How to Connect.

Business travel’s unintended side effects, isolation and unfamiliarity, and how to utilize social media to take advantage of networking on the road will be highlighted. Questions answered include “How can you maximize your business travels to nurture professional relationships?” and “How do you safely share your travel details with the right people?”.
