Orlando International Airport Offering Valet Curb Service
Effective immediately, Orlando International Airport will have valet parking service for automobiles arriving at the airport. For those who have spent time parking in the garage and then hiking to the airport with bags in tow, this may be a nice benefit.
Working with the airport-attached Hyatt hotel and Bags Inc, travelers will simply drop off their vehicles at the departure area. There, they will have their bags checked and walk into the airport with boarding passes. Upon return to the airport, travelers can text ahead to insure their car will be ready when they exit the airport. The cost will be $25 per day. The price for regular airport parking is $17 per day.
Remote check-in services are currently available for the following airlines: Alaska, American/US Air, JetBlue, and United.
There may be one downside to consider for those with checked bags. It sounds like they intend to have the car pickup location be the same as the drop off point. This means first going to the lower level baggage claim to retrieve your luggage, then taking the elevator up one level to return to the valet service.
